A Cass Winery wedding in Paso Robles. Is it just me, or does that have a nice ring to it? Judging by the sprawl of ripe green vineyards and the glow produced by the sun that brushes the treetops at sunset, I’m going to say, it’s not just me. There are very few venues in Paso Robles that manage to accomplish the beauty of a Cass Winery wedding. Aside from the beauty of the natural setting, the venue is spacious, accommodating, and a pretty darn good place to throw one rockin’ party. It’s kind of a big deal.
It’s such a big deal, in fact, that Kelsey and Will decided to say I do with a Cass Winery wedding. They didn’t just host their wedding day there either. Kelsey and Will also hosted their rehearsal dinner at Cass, attended by their immediate family members, and of course, their wedding party. When I met up with them for the rehearsal, I immediately got the sense that their wedding day would be one for the books.
Cass Winery Wedding
Couple things you need to know if you’re thinking about hosting your own Cass Winery wedding. Their tagline goes a little something like this ‘French DNA & Paso Personality’. Honestly, I couldn’t have said it better myself. World-class wine is the name of the game at Cass and that is all courtesy of their ENTAV vines. In case you’re not yet completely fluent in ‘wine speak’ those are vines that have been certified by the French Institute of Viticulture as authentic clones aka genetic copies of French vines. Pretty groovy, right?
In addition to the amazing wine they bottle up at Cass, they offer a few different locations on-site to host your wedding. For more intimate events, Cass provides space in their Cellar, Banquet Hall, or Library. For a rockin wedding day (like Kelsey & Will’s) a Cass Winery wedding ceremony is served up al fresco style, with plenty of indoor/outdoor space for you and up to 200 of your closest friends and family members. Major bonus – if you’re planning a full-out wedding weekend, they offer overnight accommodations too.
It’s kind of funny the things you pick up on as a wedding photographer. With Kelsey and Will, I noticed what a perfect fit they are for each other. They are both totally down-to-earth, loving people who are as sweet as can be. It’s a magical thing when you get to watch a couple come together in that way. But it’s even more special when it’s celebrated by everyone around them. Their guests, every member of their family, and their entire wedding party spent the whole weekend on cloud 9. I’m sure the epic setting helped, but I’m attributing the lively mood and celebratory spirit all to Kelsey and Will.
There were so many stand-out moments from Kelsey & Will’s Cass Winery wedding that it’s hard to pick a few ‘favorites’. But I will say, their doggy ring bearer, their first look, and the cold sparklers on the dance floor definitely made it to the top of my list. Oh, and did I mention the legendary sunset? I’ll throw that in once more for good measure. Because yes, it was truly as beautiful as it sounds.
