Puerto Vallarta
From our not-so-humble abode ~ Ocho Cascadas {with beautiful architecture from the late Edward Giddings} to the cobblestone streets of Conchas Chinas neighborhood ~ we didn’t need to venture far to enjoy ourselves on this vacation. After a long season, this was a welcome respite and it took about 3 seconds to go from ‘go go go’ to chill mode once we walked into the Penthouse pad. We don’t often travel in such style…and by that I mean: never. But, there’s a first time for everything and hopefully this wasn’t the last!
The vast & beautiful Vallarta Botanical Gardens, our trip was filled with beautiful sites. Our adventures into ‘Zona Romantica’ aka ‘Old Town’ indulged our remaining senses: with small markets, more unique architecture, amazing food (not all of it on a stick) and splashes of color everywhere. We also enjoyed the Wednesday evening art walk ~ just a hot tip in case you make the journey 😉
Fiery sunsets. Amazing food. Wonderful Culture. Great Company ~ Calvin & Julie, thanks for this incredible vacation ~ I’m not sure how we got this lucky but I am greatful beyond words. And to the the best hosts possible: thank you Felipe, Lalo & the rest of the crew at Ocho for making us feel at home 😉
Enough gluttony (or food porn) ~ although, I’d love to further indulge you, there was more to our trip than the fantastic cuisine!
