It’s true that Makeover has heen a band nearly 6 months longer than the average band (they are about to celebrate their 8 month anniversary together), but really, this band has been in the making for decades. It was for this reason, and a few others (like their Zoolander themed wardrobe) that Makeover Live on Halloween at SLO Brew was one of the most epic shows of all time…on Halloween, in SLO, during an even year.
It’s also true that Makeover does not write original music, like their name would suggest, they take the music of other rock & pop legends before them, and make-it-over, make it better. Everyone knows that musicians like Michael Jackson, Sinead O’Conner and George Michael, while extremely talented, never achieved their full potential due to the woes of fame. Makeover doesn’t have to deal with that!…plus, they bring you the same great music with a unique spin.
