A couple months ago, I ran a contest for a free portrait session…and Kelsey won! They decided to do some Montaña de Oro Family portraits…wise decision!
Kelsey and I went to elementary thru high school together; but it’s been a long time since we’ve seen each other, let alone spend some quality time. It was good to catch up and meet her family (Joe & son, Ganon). I believe Ganon was stoked to be at the beach, but it seems he gets that from his dad who was with him stride for stride as they ran down the massive sand dunes. This is my favorite way to spend a family portrait session: a little hiking, a little fun, and a little posing…’cause nobody wants to spend an hour just posing.
Other activities included, piggy-back rides, swinging with mom & dad, exploring the tide-pools, sand dune sliding, a quick break for a snack and more
