Waimea Plantation Wedding

I started my wedding photography career in Kaua’i in 2007 ~ it was amazing. Why?…because Kaua’i was created for photographers. Its vivid colors and endlessly entertaining skies, oceans, canyons, rivers, beaches, birds, waterfalls, etc. will stoke the creativity of any artistic soul. Imagine my excitement when my friend, Lianne, contacted me about shooting her wedding!

Lianne & Dave’s Waimea Plantation Wedding was…yes, you guessed it, AWESOME! The Waimea Plantation Cottages are beautiful, historic and are chock full of breathtaking views…mostly of the stunning bride! Seriously, Lianne’s smile was contagious…even as I post these pics I’m still smiling!

Perhaps the most enjoyable thing about this wedding was how many people from SLO made the trip across the ocean to the most remote chain of islands in the world, to celebrate this union! I think everyone came to the same conclusion, it was well worth the trip. Congratulations Lianne+Dave!
