San Luis Creek Egret

egret reflection
What ails the San Luis Creek egret (great white egret)? Perhaps, it’s the fact that what was once a flowing creek and has been diminished to a mere puddle…draught, I’m guessing. But I don’t know, maybe egrets don’t care, about water, or anything…maybe egrets are the nihilists of the animal kingdom? Whatever the case, he did not care about my presence near the bank of the creek while I snapped away picture after picture of him grazing the puddle. And the good news is, I care. I care, egret.
