This has to be the most unique outdoor venue space I have ever been to. Tanya and Patrick’s Villa de Lucca wedding was gorgeous. In part because Villa de Lucca is a stunning backdrop with views of wine country. If you want to plan a Villa de Lucca wedding, this venue gets a SLOtography ‘highly recommend’ seal of approval. The space is completely outdoors and it’s great for your ceremony, reception, and an all-night dance party. Of course, it’s also a fantastic venue if you want those gorgeous wedding photos that capture your meaningful memories along with those moments in between.
Tanya and Patrick planned their Villa de Lucca wedding for the beginning of summer. May, to be exact. They asked their guests to come dressed in their best spring formal attire. It’s not uncommon for couples to establish a dress code for their wedding. It might seem like an odd request to ask the guests at your wedding to wear something specific, but it’s all for a good cause.
When all of your guests attend your wedding wearing complementary attire (not matchy-matchy) your wedding photos turn out pretty amazing, if I do say so myself. It also gives your guests some time to saddle up to one another during cocktail hour and say things like ‘hey I almost wore the same thing’. Just kidding, maybe. But, in addition to your guests looking great, it adds to their excitement as your wedding approaches.
Tanya & Patrick’s Villa de Lucca Wedding
Aside from their fantastic idea of a dress code for their guests Tanya and Patrick’s Villa de Lucca wedding was full of love, laughter, and cherished memories. The day was planned to perfection with every detail meticulously in place. The florals were stunning and the food and beverage services was nothing short of delectable.
But it was Tanya and Patrick’s personal wedding vows that will be treasured forever. They chose to write their own wedding vows, and let’s just say, they both did an excellent job. During their ceremony, they openly shared their feelings for each other while allowing their guests a glimpse into their story. You could feel the shared excitement in the air as they embarked on this new chapter.
The fun was waiting for everyone at the Villa de Lucca wedding reception. The members of their wedding party along with their guests came through with heartfelt speeches sharing their joy for Tanya and Patrick. And then they all hit the dance floor, hard. Seriously, it was packed! But they weren’t going to let that be the end of their celebration. Tanya and Patrick pre-planned an afterparty with their guests at one of their favorite local dive bars, Whiskey & June. Which was perfect because it was a short two-minute walk from where their guests caught the shuttle for their wedding.
Villa de Lucca wedding venue is 10 acres of property with 40-mile views. The views are (quite literally) in every single direction you turn. It’s also a unique venue in that the entire venue is al fresco style, but the reception space is in an open-air A-frame structure. Dance floor and all! I could go on and on about how stunning this venue is, but I’ll let Tanya and Patrick’s wedding photos and video do the talking for you.
