Or…did the Pinnacles Rock us? It’s hard to say. On a brief, but excellent, trip to the Pinnacles National Park ~ the SLOtography crew was able to experience a beautiful slice of preserved landscape, that has been a few years in the making:
Some 23 million years ago multiple volcanoes erupted, flowed, and slid to form what would become Pinnacles National Park. What remains is a unique landscape. Travelers journey through chaparral, oak woodlands, and canyon bottoms. Hikers enter rare talus caves and emerge to towering rock spires teeming with life: prairie and peregrine falcons, golden eagles, and the inspiring California condor. -Pinnacles National Park Website
Also a few years in the making: SLOtography 🙂
Credit to the many contributors of SLOtography (& this blog): James Lester + Zach Ayers + Dustin Wise ~ they are younger, more-talented versions of myself…and they keep me on my toes…as evidenced in the warrior/photographer pose a few images down 😉
