The destinations are ample, the variety is wide, the photographers (present company excluded ~ unbiased perspective) are INCREDIBLE! No matter whom you choose, you’ll find your trip to the Central Coast ~ San Luis Obispo area offers a perfect opportunity to document your (almost) perfect family :). San Luis Obispo Family Portraits are never a bad idea. Budget: $250+ for mini sessions ~ 30 minutes or about $400 for a full session. For budgeting purposes, consider destination & travel as some photographers will travel up to 90 miles just to meet you at a destination. Also, consider that larger groups (5+ people) may incur additional fees, but of course, the more people you have involved the more fun you can have (and you can also divvy up the check ;)). • **Session Fee**: The session fee covers all aspects of our time together, including travel to the location, the photography session itself, and the return trip home. This upfront cost allows you to enjoy the experience without any hidden fees later.
• **Editing**: Every SLOtography photo session includes a professionally edited, downloadable gallery of your images. You will have full printing rights and the images will be delivered without watermarks. This means there won’t be any surprise costs after the shoot; the price you agree upon upfront is all you will pay.
• *Be aware that some photographers may have different policies, such as charging extra for downloads or requiring you to order prints separately. This is becoming less common, but it’s important to clarify these details beforehand—ideally in a contract.
• **Contract**: To ensure transparency and protect both parties, all photo sessions with SLOtography are booked using our online contract platform, HoneyBook. This platform has gained industry-wide acceptance due to its user-friendly nature. You can review and sign your contract directly from your smartphone, making it easy to access and manage your booking anytime, anywhere.
• **Deposit**: To secure your session date, a deposit of 50% of the total session fee is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance can be settled prior to your session date. This deposit not only confirms your appointment but also helps us prepare for an enjoyable and professional experience.
• **Published Gallery**: The part you’ve been waiting for! After your session, you can expect to receive a fully edited gallery of photos within two weeks, and often much sooner. This gallery will be password-protected for your privacy, allowing you to specify the password and set any other privacy preferences.
• Once your gallery is published, you can easily share the link with family and friends, so they can experience and download your beautiful images too.
