Lindsay+Devin ~ SF Phoenix Wedding
Mrs. Danger gets wed to an even more dangerous gent…and his hair has risen from the ashes just like the legend of the Phoenix, which is where these two lovebirds tied the knot. In epic fashion 😉
Speaking of epic, check out this dangerous love story, as written up in the New York Times (that’s right): View Article ~ it’s a pretty good write up, but I’m here to fill you in on the missing pieces! They missed the part about the actual wedding…which is a bummer, ’cause it was amazing. I met these two on Friday for a little ‘paperwork’ at City Hall ~ and while they wouldn’t actually let Lindsay in the building with her balloons, we still managed to get some sweet shots inside.
The Wedding Day: just another day in the middle of ‘the loin’ of SF. Displaced shopping carts holding up zombies surrounding an oasis known as ‘The Phoenix’ ~ it’s so hipster that you’d think L+D actually designed it. The beauty of this little spot is that Lindsay & Devin were able to make it the perfect setting for their wedding: with an unbelievably talented crew of ‘Friendors’ from musicians (no surprises there) to floral designers and of course, photographers, this wedding was firing! There were a few notable peeps in attendance, celebrities ~ yes ~ but I’m speaking of Lindsay & Devin’s family! Christine was simply elegant in her family-vintage dress, and Julio was clearly the sharpest looking groomsman. Lindsay’s parents were on point as well, making the trip from Alaska (Kenai represent!) to explain the origin of all that Danger 😉
It was a pleasure to be a part of this shindig, to be in such good company which included the families as well as the most important friends that have supported these two for so long. Judging by this incredible celebration, it’s easy to see just how much these two are loved. Keep up the good stuff newlyweds 😉
