Jessica+Jo ~ Silver Creek Valley Country Club Wedding
You can’t tell a love story without starting at the beginning…and for J+J, that story begins at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo! (And coincidentally, that’s where I started to document their love story). As incoming freshman, these two met in the dorms at Tenaya Hall ~ it’s a good start :). The story of their love is one I gleaned from speeches & a slideshow (so I’m well qualified to tell it): this magic love has now spanned nearly a decade, several countries and countless life events and and they were together all the way. It’s really a sweet story ~ to grow so much individually and all the while growing a mutual love for one another. I’m impressed.

On to Wedding Day ~ September 7th, 2019
Silver Valley Country Club
These two went for it ~ a prep that included hours of hair and makeup (for Jo ~ I think Jessica is just a natural beauty) and they proceeded to enjoy a first look, a Korean ceremony and a Chinese Tea Ceremony ~ each of which involved a unique outfit! Awesome.
The energy from this wedding was unlike any I’d seen ~ their reception involved dancing, drinking and then more dancing and drinking. Perhaps my most fascinating discovery from this wedding was how excellent an idea it is for the whole wedding party to greet each table with a cheers!
A celebration was had, by all, and their day had to be incredibly memorable. I’ll never forget the 11 hours from start to finish…for me…and I center long before the party did.
