Bishop peak is the tallest of the seven sisters, which hasn’t always been easy for her. As far as which peak is the most beautiful, well, that’s a subjective question. Bishop is the tallest, Black Hill is the shortest. Islay Hill is the oldest and Morro Rock is the youngest. And what do they have in common (except being sisters of course)?…well, they were all once volcanic plugs of magma, which welled up and solidified inside softer rock, which has since been eroded.
