Check out some pics from this Proposal Photo shoot at Baileyana! This was as impromptu as they come ~ I had literally just wrapped up a family portrait shoot and a somewhat nervous looking fella approached me; turns out his nerves were a result of the fact that he was about to propose to his girlfriend! We had about 30 seconds to chat before said girlfriend returned from the bathroom, but in that time we were able to craft a simple plan: he would get down on one knee and propose, and I would be there to photograph it!
This wasn’t my first proposal photo shoot…no, it was my 3rd to be honest; though this one was the first that was unplanned! I would like to believe that this experience makes me some sort of expert “spy photographer,” but I’m not sure 2x counts as adequate experience…but who can argue with these results!
It’s tough to go wrong when photographing such an incredible moment as a proposal; just don’t blow the surprise and get the couple in focus…that’s my advice 🙂
