Here is the story of Megan & Cole’s wedding
I set out the evening before from my humble abode, headed just a few hours north thru the desolate & often boring I5 wilderness. But it’s autumn, and all of the sudden everything looks awesome. The trees are taking on those inexplicably beautiful but fleeting colors, the sun is low in the sky, the traffic…not so bad.
Anyway, on to the wedding: Megan laughed and smiled throughout the day (it was her wedding day after all), all the while, she was entertained by the antics of the kids running around all dressed-up, including those of her newlywed husband, Cole. They tied the knot at the beautiful and historic River Mill in French Camp, California. The scene was accentuated by the striking contrast that the red-brick (River Mill) building offered amidst those fall colors I was going on and on about. It was a treat to venture into a totally new place, surrounded by new people, and feel so welcomed. This wedding was a blast…let me show you what I’m talking about:
Time…for the first look. Aren’t these “I do” shoes (above) are crucial!
Onward, to the reception:
After the wedding, the reception, the epic dance party & the cake, we had one more opportunity to get some pictures with just the bride and the groom; apparently, this was pretty funny…
Congratulations to Cole & Megan & family ~ it was a beautiful occasion!
