Laura+Christian got married in San Luis Obispo at the Monday Club ~ and it was a hoot! A few months back, Laura & Christian, who run with a great group of friends I’ve been lucky enough to infiltrate, asked me to photograph their wedding. It was clearly intended to be a simple wedding; nothing over-the-top, just a celebration of these two people. I thought: sounds like my type of wedding.
And the wedding did not disappoint, not in the slightest. The property was colorfully decorated inside and out. The ceremony was short and sweet and close friends performed readings, which provided such a nice touch. The reception was filled with smiles, laughs, hacky-sack and frisbees: it was an awesome backyard party celebrating the union of two beautiful people! (just how it’s supposed to be.)
Of course, in the end, I put down my camera, grabbed a beer and joined in on the celebration…and then when things got real exciting I picked up my camera again. I just can’t help myself, weddings like this are filled with too much good stuff: beautiful day.
