Brian & Shirley are expecting! They brought along “Baby Fujino’s” shoes and we hit playground…literally, for this Maternity shoot in Avila Beach.
While I hadn’t planned on becoming a maternity photographer, since day 1 of venturing into photography I’ve kept the mentality ‘I’ll try anything once!’ This mantra came in handy was exercised to the fullest as I found myself shooting a maternity yoga class for Smiling Dog Yoga (my favorite spot) in San Luis Obispo. During that shoot, (which was my first of its kind), I had the pleasure of meeting Shirley! And as it turns out, the class & shoot went amazingly well!
This time around we decided to get to the beach, and we made our way to Avila cruising along the Bob Jones trail. The fall colors are still in full splendor and the photo opportunities aplenty. These two were casual and perfect models the whole time, I’ve got plenty of excellent photos as evidence. Here’s are a few:
