The day began with calm, joyful preparations. Mekenzie and her bridesmaids were pampered by Stephanie + Judi (@makeupbystephiemarie) for makeup and Isabella (@beaut.y.by.belle) for hair, while the natural light streaming through the barn windows provided the perfect setting for getting-ready photos.
Her gown, expertly tailored by Beautiful Alterations, looked stunning against the rustic ranch backdrop. When TJ saw Mekenzie for their first look, the moment was pure magic—one of my favorite highlights of any Swallow Creek Ranch wedding.
Ceremony Among the Hills
The ceremony took place with sweeping views of the Central Coast hills. A wooden arch, adorned with fresh blooms from Farmermaid Flowers, framed the couple as they exchanged vows, officiated by their friend Abby.
Guests enjoyed the late-summer sunshine and gentle coastal breeze, making the outdoor ceremony comfortable and beautiful. There’s something about a Swallow Creek Ranch wedding ceremony that feels both intimate and grand, with plenty of space for each moment to shine.
