The cities of the Central Coast have their fair share of festivals, but no city is as festival friendly as Morro Bay. There’s the Kite Festival, the Oyster Festival and the Avocado & Margarita Festival…which makes you wonder if there is any proposal that the MB Festival Committee will not accept. Regardless, the best festival is the one with the best weather and this years’ winner is the Harbor Festival! A ridiculous 80+ degrees brought the thirsty crowds and Queen Nation (a Queen tribute band based in Los Angeles) held true to the ‘we will rock you’ anthem…although I can’t remember them playing that; I guess it was implied.
