Pismo Beach Proposal ~ Olivia+Michael!
Michael had a question he terribly wanted to ask Olivia. His first scheme involved a flight to Santa Barbara ~ a favorite spot for this couple. Unfortunately, Santa Barbara is on fire! So Michael changed it up a bit. Our first attempt to hit Shell Beach was thwarted by big surf! Next stop: the Pismo Beach Monarch Butterfly preserve, where there were plenty of flights taking place! Unfortunately, the butterflies in the air reminded Michael too much of the butterflies in his stomach ;).
So, we made our way out to the beach for a little privacy (away from the monarchs) where Michael dropped to a knee, and the air was now filled with emotions instead of butterflies! The ring couldn’t make it onto Olivia’s finger fast enough and a very clear ‘Yes!’ was unmistakeable ~ and with that, these two were engaged!
On cloud 9, these two made one more stop before heading back home to spread the news ~ the airport! And while they didn’t get to take the flight that Michael (a pilot) had intended ~ we did end up at the Oceano Airport among some classic planes! It was the perfect grand finale for these aviators and the quint Oceano Airport was happy to host the newly engaged couple :). Olivia’s airplane dress was the icing on the cake.
