Danielle+Chad’s Holland Ranch wedding was incredible; the crew was just big enough to fit on the classic stage, spread to the edges with a wedding party of 24 people! The location was beautiful (as always) & to cap it off, the day ended with an epic sunset/double rainbow combination…many a tear was shed and we finally know the answer to the question “what does it mean?”
Danielle+Chad met with me back in January in Edna Valley, where we got to know each other a bit and took some beautiful photos with a grand finale in Montaña de Oro: View. Fast forward a few months and a lot of hard work & planning; and we arrive at their wedding day! They chose the gorgeous Holland Ranch to tie the knot…and thanks to the contribution from Danielle’s father, they could literally tie the knot!
When I arrived on site, the mood was calm & excited. Danielle was getting the finishing touches on her makeup and champagne was being sipped (slowly) in the bridal suite. Meanwhile, the guys were complimenting each other on how great they looked in their suits as they cruised the ranch property sipping on coors light (slowly).
The day was overcast: cool and muggy. The threat of rain loomed but had yet to come. 4 o’clock rolled around and it was “go-time”…the stage was set and the seats filled. The wedding ceremony began.
The Groomsmen marched in unison to the stage and one by one, the bridesmaids made their way front & center. The flower girls left a trail that the ring bearer followed (slowly but surely). And then the bride appeared atop the stairway, escorted by her father (whose eyes threatened to precipitate like the skies above). The ceremony was light & sweet, and the officiant gave permission to Chad to kiss his bride. They were married and just then, the drops came down…perfect timing.
The day continued with a beautiful reception; a celebration filled with speeches, BBQ, dancing & dessert of countless varieties. A rainbow appeared to mark the end of the day ~ but all the tears had run out and we could only marvel at its beauty with dry eyes. The dance floor was filled with moves that had never been witnessed before and would be forgotten were it not for these photos.
Congrats to Danielle, Chad & their families ~ in all seriousness, your day could not have been more beautiful!
