Heather surprised me with tickets for the inaugural (I’ve never used that word so often) Bottle Rock Festival; featuring The Black Keys, Ben Harper and This Sex is on Fire (the kings of leon). The best part about the festival was that we did not have to sleep in a Coachella dustbowl or a Woodstock mud bath; rather, we had the luxury of staying at the beautiful home of Tom & Pam (my now official uncle & aunt). Their place is beautiful, so beautiful in fact, that a couple of fairies stay there from time to time…and Brecon.
